Mr. Robert McClellon
May 23, 2005
Metals
Various metals were detected in the composited samples, all at levels well below their respective
PRGs and hazardous waste designation levels. For specific metals results please see Table 1.
rK7CiI
The analytical results of waste characterization sampling conducted at the site indicate that the soil/ash
waste generated from the burn pits should be considered non -hazardous waste. Approximately 250 to
350 cubic yards of waste will require disposal. Ground Zero is currently profiling the waste for
acceptance to Forward Landfill in Manteca CA.
RECOMMENDATIONS
Based upon the data presented herein, Ground Zero makes the following recommendations:
1. Load and transport the ash waste to a Class II Landfill, such as Forward Landfill in Manteca,
California. Any surface soil visually discolored by ash should be transported along with the waste
for disposal at the landfill.
Please call John Lane of Ground Zero (209-838-9888) or Mr. Peter Palomino (209-652-8240) at your
earliest convenience if you have any questions regarding this submittal.
Sincerely,
Ground Zero Analysis, Inc.
ere J.
