Soil Borings and Water Samples
Location: 23021-23 S. Santa Fe Road, Riverbank
Date: July 29, 2004
Soil borings and water samples were conducted by Fisch Enviromental to investigate soil and
groundwater near identified waste areas. The depths of the soil samples were 10 to 30 feet beneath the
ground surface. The direct push drilling method was used to drill the borings. A 2-inch diameter core
sampler was used to collect the samples. The depth of the groundwater samples were 25 to 40 feet.
The borings were then backfilled to the surface with neat ground cement.
Soil and water sampling number system is as follows:
1St Boring: SBI-10 (soil sample)
SB 1-20 (soil sample)
SB 1-30 (groundwater sample)
2°d Boring: SB2-10 (soil sample)
SB2-20 (soil sample)
SB2-30 (soil sample)
SB2-40 (groundwater sample)
P Boring: SB3-10 (soil sample)
SB3-20 (soil sample)
SB3-25 (groundwater sample)
4th Boring: SB4-10 (soil sample)
SB4-20 (soil sample)
SB4-30 (groundwater sample)
5th Boring: SB5-10 (soil sample)
SB5-20 (soil sample)
SB5-30 (groundwater sample)
The analysis of the samples are to be done by Argon Laboratories (DHS Certification# 2359),
and McCampbell Anaylitical (DHS Certification# 1644). Copies of the test results of the samples are
to be submitted directly to San Joaquin County EHD.
