2. Remove the two screws holding the timer cover to the <br />timer backplate, then remove the cover. <br />3. Cut the power cord wires, leaving short lengths of black, <br />white, and green wires connected to the timer. Remove <br />the strain relief fittings and the power cord. <br />4. Mount a conduit fitting on the lower right of the timer <br />backplate and run rigid conduit from a nearby power <br />supply to the conduit fitting. <br />5. Using black (HOT), white (NEUTRAL), and green <br />(GROUND) wires, feed the wires through the conduit <br />PR <br />CA <br />R B W <br />FIG. 21 <br />16 / HI-FLO® 2 WATER SOFTENER <br />run into the timer. One at a time, replace the cut power <br />cord wires with the same color new wires. <br />6. Aqua -Sensor® control units only - Run the probe cable <br />through the hole located in the upper left of the timer <br />backplate (Fig. 22). Connect the pin connectors on the <br />color -coded wires to the appropriate pins on the <br />Aqua -Sensor circuit board (Fig. 21). Using a pair of <br />pliers, secure the cable to the timer backplate with the <br />strain relief bushing provided (Fig. 22). <br />7.
