Page 3 <br />Compliance <br />m tfor Dis Site Standar <br />State en osa p <br />Comply with all circled violations: <br />17682 - <br />Cover material compacted to a minimum thickness of six (6) <br />inches was not placed over the compacted landfill wastes <br />every hours. <br />17684 - <br />Cover material compacted to a minimum thickness of twelve <br />(12) inches was not placed on all surfaces of the fill <br />where refuse was stored more than 180 days. <br />17685 - <br />Cover material compacted to a minimum thickness of two (2) <br />feet was not placed on the final cover after placement of <br />the final lift. <br />17686 - <br />Scavenging was evident at the site. <br />17687 - <br />Salvaging operations were interfering with the entry and <br />egress of vehicles delivering wastes to the site. <br />Salvaging operations were interfering with the site operations. <br />17690 - <br />Salvage materials were not stored in an area segregated from <br />roadways used by incoming vehicles. <br />17691 - <br />Salvage materials were not removed often enough to prevent <br />for and nuisance problems from developing. <br />17701 - <br />The site operations were creating a public nuisance for <br />surrounding property owners, <br />17703 <br />Adequate measures for prompt fire control as required by <br />local fire authorities were not taken by the site operator. <br />1770 - <br />Adequate measures to minimize the creation of dust at the <br />disposal site were not taken by the operator. <br />17707 <br />Adequate steps to control the <br />problems were not taken by the site operator. <br />17708 - <br />Erosion was occuring in certain areas of the site allowing <br />run-off water to drain in creeks, ponds and onto adjacent <br />properties. <br />17709 - <br />Solid waste materials were in direct contact with surface <br />water. <br />17710 - <br />Graded surfaces of the disposal area were -not constructed to <br />promote the runoff of precipitation and to prevent ponding <br />on the site or adjacent properties. <br />17711 - <br />Litter and loose materials were not routinely collected and <br />disposed of properly. Proper litter control equipment was <br />not available at the disposal site. <br />
