This existing facility is a 157 acre Class II -1 sanitary landfill. The <br />trench method of operation is utilized. The facility is located at <br />Austin Road, Stockton, San Joaquin County, California, This site is <br />closed to the public, but receives an annual average of 700 cubic <br />yards of non -recyclable wastes per day. Commercial vehicles are <br />processed through the on-site transfer station to the landfill site. <br />In addition to this waste material, between 130,000 to 150,000 <br />cubic yards of limited Group 1 wastes will be disposed of at the <br />landfill site during a 2 -year period from April 1978 through March <br />1980. Future plans are being considered to process additional Group <br />1 wastes as approved by the San Joaquin Local Health District and <br />the California Regional Water Quality Control Board, Central Valley <br />Region. Operating hours are 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. six days per week. <br />Types of wastes received at the site include: <br />1. Residential refuse. 6. Sewage sludge. <br />2. Commercial solid wastes. 7. Liquids/slurries. <br />3. Tires. 8. Limited hazardous wastes. <br />4. Industrial wastes. 9. Septic tank pumpings. <br />5. Construction/demolition wastes. <br />Additional information concerning the facility's design and operation <br />is included in the Report of Disposal Site Information dated May 22, <br />1978. <br />B. There are no proposed changes in the facility's existing operation <br />which will be implemented within the next five years, <br />C. Operations and design immediately prior to August 15, 1977 were as <br />specified by the Report of Disposal Site Information dated May 22, 1978 <br />which is hereby made a part of this permit. <br />This permit is granted solely to the operator named above, and is riot transferable. Upon a change of <br />operator, this permit is subject to revocation. Upon a significant change in design or operation from <br />that described in this permit or in attachments thereto for the existing design and operation of a <br />facility operating immediately prior to August 15, 1977, or from the approved intended 'design and <br />operation of a facility which was not operating prior to August 15, 1977, or which herein is granted <br />a permit modification, this permit is subject to revocation, suspension, modification or other <br />appropriate action. <br />This permit does not authorize the operation of any facility contrary to the State Minimum Standards <br />for Solid Waste Handling and Disposal. This permit cannot be considered as permission to violate <br />existing laws, ordinances, regulations, or statutes of other government agencies. <br />. Dan Joaquin Local Health District, 1601 E.
