In addition , our quarterly monitoring program has been <br /> expanded to include the reporting of; arsenic, sulfate, chromium, zinc, <br /> nickel , cadmium and copper concentrations from groundwater samplas. Also, <br /> we currently sample and analyze vegetation and soil samples representative <br /> of the area within a 500-foot radius of the fence surrounding the hazardous <br /> waste area. 'Each of the soil and vegetation samples are washed and the <br /> wash water analyzed for barium and strontium. A portion of the vegetation <br /> sample is incinerated and the ash residue is analyzed for digested barium <br /> and strontium. <br /> Monitoring well #3 was located in the area now occupied by Trench #3 in <br /> the Group l Waste Area. Prior to excavation of Trench #3 , the well casing <br /> was pulled and the monitoring well bore was backfilled with cement grout. , <br /> As soon as weather conditions permit access to a drill rig, a new monitor- <br /> ing well will be installed 500 feet wast of the centerline of Trench #3, <br />
