Environmental Health Department <br />Facility Name and Address: COUNTRY SQUIRE MOBILE ESTATES & WATER SYSTEM, 4350 CHEROKEE RD, STOCKTO <br />Swimming Pool Official Inspection Report <br /> #37 Electrical Hazards <br />OBSERVATIONS: Pump is not bonded/grounded. Bond/ground pool pump today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Electrical equipment installed in the water, walls, deck, or equipment room of a public pool shall comply with <br />California Electrical Code. (CEC 680.4) Light fixtures installed in the pool that operate at more than 15 volts shall be protected by a ground <br />fault circuit interrupter. (CBC 3160B) <br /> #39 Wastewater Disposal <br />OBSERVATIONS: Observed backwash line leading into field next to pool. Discontinue this practice and discharge <br />backwash wastewater into sanitary sewer. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Backwash from sand filters shall discharge indirectly into a sump with sufficient capacity to receive <br />wastewater without overflowing. Backwash from diatomaceous earth filters shall discharge into a separation tank designed to collect the <br />diatomaceous earth mixture. Wastewater from the separation tank shall discharge into the sanitary sewer. A visible sight indicator shall <br />be installed on the backwash line when discharge is not visible to the pool operator. Pool recirculation system shall not be directly <br />connected to the sanitary sewer system. (CBC 3141B) Cartridge filters shall be cleaned in an approved wash down area equipped with <br />potable water supply. Wash down area shall discharge through permanently installed plumbing into the sanitary sewer. (CBC 3132B) <br />OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS <br />OBSERVATIONS <br />Flow rate:gpm <br />pH: <br />Chlorine:ppm <br />Cyanuric acid:ppm <br />Temp:º F 20 <br /><7 <br />0.8 <br /><30 Combined chlorine:ppm <br />NOTES <br />Routine inspection. <br />Influent: 18 PSI <br />Start clean/clean filter markers on influent pressure gauge were not being used and there was no effluent pressure gauge. <br />Use start/clean filter markers properly or provide effluent pressure gauge for filter maintenance. <br />Water may be getting into light fixture, located letter from electrician dated 7/25/2014 verifying that power to the pool light was <br />disconnected. <br />The person in charge is responsible for ensuring that the above mentioned facility is in compliance with all applicable sections of the California Health and <br />Safety Code.
