The existing septic system and leach field extend to the <br />east of the residence and are located over 100 feet away from the onsite domestic water <br />well (Figure 2; Appendix B). <br />The proposed septic system is planned to be installed in the northwestern corner of the <br />subject property (Figure 2). The proposed septic system will consist of a 1,500 -gallon <br />septic tank with two compartments and three 109 -foot -long leach lines. The septic system <br />will be connected to the industrial building planned to be developed on the property that <br />will be open Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM; the septic system will be <br />utilized 260 days per year by approximately 12 full-time employees. <br />3.1. EXISTING ON-SITE SEPTIC TANK USAGE <br />The septic system servicing the existing residential structure (house) consists of a 1,600 - <br />gallon septic tank with two compartments, two 60 -foot -long leach lines, and one 36 -inch <br />diameter, 15 -foot -long, 10 -foot -deep sump. The septic system was installed in 1997 and <br />is located to the east of the residential structure on the property. The system is permitted <br />for a three-bedroom house and is utilized 365 days a year (Appendix B). <br />3.2. SITE SEPTIC PERMIT HISTORY <br />Two liquid wastewater septic permits are on record at the San Joaquin County <br />Environmental Health Department (EHD). The following is a description of the permits. <br />• EHD permit SR0013907 dated October 1997 is on record for 14250 South Jack <br />Tone Road, Manteca, California for installation of a new residential septic system <br />consisting of a 1,600 -gallon concrete septic tank with two compartments, two 60 - <br />foot -long leach lines, and one 36 -inch diameter, 15 -foot long, 10 -foot -deep sump <br />(Appendix B). <br />EHD permit SR0023735 dated August 2000 is on record for 14250 South Jack <br />Tone Road, Manteca, California for repair/addition of one 24 -inch diameter, 15 - <br />foot long, 10 -foot -deep seepage pit (Appendix B). <br />3.3. ON-SITE SEPTIC TANK REPAIR HISTORY <br />One septic wastewater repair permit is on record at the EHD. Permit SR0023735 dated <br />August 2000 is on record for 14250 South Jack Tone Road, Manteca, California for the <br />addition of one 24 -inch diameter, 15 -foot long, 10 -foot -deep seepage pit (Appendix B). <br />3.4.
