Operating Activities
Cannabis Cultivation Overview
The primary activity in the operation of the commercial cannabis cultivation business will involve the
cultivation of'flowering'cannabis plants within the proposed cultivation structures.Flowering plants are
mature cannabis plants which produce cannabis 'flower'or'buds',which would be sold wholesale to state
licensed distributors and retailers.
Within the cultivation structures, certain grow rooms shall be dedicated to Nursery Cultivation geared
toward producing plant stock to populate the grow rooms dedicated for`Flowering Plants'.These
`Nursery Rooms' shall provide nursery stock to feed on-site"Flowering"cultivation operations with a
potential secondary purpose of producing Nursery stock to be sold wholesale to State-licensed Cultivators
and Retailers.
Ancillary to the primary Cultivation activity would be the processing, packaging, and secure storage of
finished'cannabis flower'and `trim' (byproduct)as well as constant maintenance of on-site security,
administrative functions including record keeping, correspondence, and interface with facility personnel.
These activities shall take place in Buildings 13,and 17.
Finished Cannabis Flower'Batches'will be transported off-site from the Distribution premises, after
finished cannabis product is processed and packaged for sale to consumers, following storage and
sampling for lab testing to ensure product quality and compliance with State regulation.
All product transactions, including the physical transfer of cannabis goods, shall take place wholly within
the confines of the secured facility perimeter.
Nursery Cultivation
During the Nursery Cultivation process, cultivation technicians will monitor automated cultivation
systems in each`non-flowering' Grow Room. These systems will be comprised of the 500-Watt
cultivation lamps, automated nutrient injections systems with irrigation lines running to each grow room
where the cannabis plants will be fed water and nutrients,air-conditioning,dehumidification,and
ventilation systems,as well as Sonic Wave Harmonizers which stimulate the plant's stomata, aiding plant
growth.
The Nursery Operations Manager will monitor the cultivation technicians, advise them as to best
practices, and enter information into the State's`Track and Trace"system as necessary during each shift.
Vegetation (Non-Flowering) Cultivation
During the Vegetation process, cultivation technicians will implant immature cannabis clones selected
from HDC's nursery stock into organic rock-wool mediums, where, during a three to four-week period,
the immature plants will sit under 500-Watt lamps with(18)eighteen hours of light and six(6) hours of
darkness inside grow rooms at the facility.
At the outset of Vegetation, each individual lot of no more than one hundred(100) immature cannabis
plants will be assigned a unique identifier with all relevant information entered in the'track and trace'
system.Once the plants have developed to the point where flowering is imminent, they will be designated
HE DEVELOPMENT CORP 4
