• Drop,Cover and Hold! Get under a sturdy structure such as a desk or workstation and <br /> remain there until the earthquake subsides. In a hallway,kneel with your back against the <br /> wall. Cover your head with your arms and tuck down to your knees. <br /> • Keep as calm as possible. <br /> • If inside,stay inside. If outside,stay in the open,away from the building,overhead power <br /> lines,or any other objects at risk of falling.Do not rush to the exits. <br /> • Keep away from windows or objects that are likely to fall. <br /> • Stay under cover until it appears the earthquake is over. Be prepared for aftershocks. <br /> • Report any damage/injuries to emergency responders by calling 911 as soon as possible. <br /> Notify HDC Management. Give whatever assistance you can to injured or disabled <br /> people. Use common sense and keep safety as a top priority when attempting to search <br /> and rescue. <br /> • Follow instructions given from emergency personnel. <br /> Bomb Threat <br /> In the event of a bomb threat: <br /> Assume that any bomb threat is a real danger to occupants and property.Be calm and courteous. <br /> Listen and do not interrupt the caller.If possible,ask someone else to notify security while the <br /> caller is on the line.If a device is spotted a runner should be sent to notify security immediately. <br /> Questions to ask if possible: <br /> • When is the bomb going to explode? <br /> • Where is it right now? <br /> • What does it look like? <br /> • What kind of bomb is it? <br /> • What will cause it to explode? <br /> • Did you place the bomb? <br /> • Why? <br /> • What is your name? <br /> Take Note of: <br /> • Whether the callers voice is male/female,age approximation; <br /> • Tone of Voice and Language used; <br /> • Background noises; <br /> • Any other remarks. <br /> Carefully make a visual survey of your immediate working space. If you see/hear anything unusual,DO <br /> NOT TOUCH;report it to security immediately.Follow any instructions for evacuation by security,or <br /> emergency responders. <br /> HE DEVELOPMENT CORP 21 <br />
