The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been <br /> addressed for J & J DISCOUNT TIRES as of October 25, 2022. <br /> Open violations from September 19, 2022 inspection <br /> Violation#110-Failed to keep signed copy of manifests from the designated facility for three years. <br /> OBSERVATION: The business operator could not provide all hazardous waste disposal records for the past three <br /> years during the inspection. This signed copy shall be retained as a record for at least three years from the date the <br /> waste was accepted by the initial transporter. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Provide a copy of disposal records for the past three years(listed above) for all <br /> hazardous waste generated from this facility. Provide these records and a corrective action statement to the EHD <br /> within 30 days. <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑This violation will be corrected by(date): <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br /> Violation#601 -Stored hazardous waste onsite greater than 180 days(90 days acute/extremely). <br /> OBSERVATION: The following hazardous waste containers were found on-site with no accumulation start date: <br /> -One 55 gallon container of used antifreeze was observed in the hazardous waste storage area with no <br /> accumulation start date. <br /> -One green 55 gallon metal steel drum of oily water was observed in hazardous waste storage area with no <br /> accumulation state date. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: Title 22 California Code of Regulations section 66262.34. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately dispose of the hazardous waste stored on site greater than 180 days in <br /> compliance with Title 22 California Code of Regulations.
