Soil Suitability /Nitrate Loading Study Irerracon
ALL STAR HEAVY HAUL & TOWING INCORPORATED Tracy, California
July 1, 2022 Terracon Project No. NA217024
SOIL SUITABILITY / NITRATE LOADING STUDY
ALL STAR HEAVY HAUL & TOWING INCORPORATED
26603 S. Hansen Rd (APN 209-110-04)
TRACY, SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY, CALIFORNIA
TERRACON PROJECT NO: NA217024
Our office was contacted by Mr. Arron Fountain to conduct a Soil Suitability/Nitrate Loading Study
(SSNLS) for the property located at 26603 S. Hansen Rd, Tracy, California, San Joaquin County
(SJC). The formatting of this report has been designed to follow, to the greatest degree possible,
San Joaquin County, Environmental Health Department (EHD) Soil Suitability Study
Requirements Checklist, dated September 25, 2007 and Nitrate Loading Study Requirements
Checklist, dated July 14, 2003.
1.0 SOIL SUITABILITY STUDY
1.1 Introduction and Development
The Soil Suitability Study (SSS) was conducted to determine whether site soils are suitable for
septic system usage. The study was performed according to the requirements of Section 9-
110.05.2(d) of the San Joaquin County Development code. A major element of the field work
included conducting percolation tests that meet absorption rates as specified by EHD. A review
of published soil information, geologic maps, and groundwater information was also performed.
1.1.1 Site Description
The site is an approximately 2.53 -acre tract of land located in 26603 S. Hansen Rd, Tracy, San
Joaquin County, California. The site is currently developed with an existing three-bedroom
residence, septic system with 25 -foot -deep seepage pits, groundwater well, barn and new
shop/storage building.
According to the San Joaquin County District Viewer the site is zoned General Industrial (I -G).
Based on a review of the San Joaquin County Community Development Department ;.rebsite, the
I -G zoning designation provides for a wide range of manufacturing, distribution and storage uses
which have moderate to high nuisance characteristics such as noise, heat, glare, odor, and
vibration, and which require segregation from other land uses, and/or may require outside storage
areas.
According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS) Tracy (1/1/1981) California
Quadrangle, the elevation of the site is between approximately 70 feet above mean sea level with
a topographic gradient generally sloping towards the north.
Responsive ■ Resourceful ■ Reliable 3
