SAN,JOAQUIN <br />Environmental Health Department <br />—COUNTY <br />Greenness grows her <br />Time In: <br /> <br />Time Out: <br /> <br />COMPLAINT INSPECTION REPORT <br />Name of Facility: CHOP STICK Date: 11/10/2021 <br />Address: 1304 N EL DORADO ST, STOCKTON 95202 <br />Owner/Operator: HO, MEI YI Telephone: (209) 466-5001 <br />Program Element: 1600- FOOD PROGRAM Complaint #: C00054423 <br />Responsible Party Contact: <br />DESCRIPTION OF COMPLAINT ALLEGATIONS <br />The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department received the following complaint: <br />COMPLAINT: Complainant went to facility on 10/30/2021 at 3:30pm and ordered won ton soup and salt and pepper shrimp. <br />Complainant did not see any hand washing. <br />When complainant walked in complainant observed through a window to the kitchen, three people sitting in a circle on <br />buckets - one of them was rubbing their feet with their shoes off. A different employee came out front and took the <br />complainants order & payment. The employee who had been rubbing her feet got up, put her crocs (shoes) back on, and <br />began preparing the complainant's food without washing her hands. Complainant let the cashier know. Complainant states <br />the cashier went into the kitchen, rinsed off the complaint's food, and put them into a pot-without washing her hands after <br />handling money. Complainant left. <br />VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br />Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7; <br />113700. All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and have the potential to cause foodbome illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately. Spoke to the food manager about the complaint received regarding <br />lack of hand washing by two employees. The manager stated they were not aware of any complaints regarding this matter. <br />The manager granted consent for me to inspect the premises. <br />Per owner, facility uses the 3 compartment sink for washing their hands because the facility lacks a hand sink in the kitchen. <br />Observed hand soap in a dispenser and wall-mounted paper towels at the 3 compartment sink. <br />The hand wash sink in the staff restroom had an empty hand soap dispenser and the paper towels were not mounted on the <br />wall or in a dispenser. Hand washing soap and towels or drying device shall be provided in dispensers dispensers shall be <br />maintained in good repair. <br />The restroom lacked a dispenser for toilet paper. Toilet facilities shall be maintained clean, sanitary and in good repair.
