Viewed photos taken by MURO <br />complainant. Received complaint details from complainant. Discussed plan of <br />action with Vidal. <br />12/14/2021 Arrived to facility and spoke to employee in the front service area. She was <br />unaware of the alleged complaint. I inspected the spicy beef, won ton soup, and <br />other entrees in the buffet area. I was unable to find any worms or larvae. Bing <br />Wen, owner, arrived shortly after. He assisted in looking through raw food items <br />such as broccoli, beef, and bok choy. We were able to identify three black-colored <br />worm-like insects that resemble caterpillars and are about one centimeter in <br />length. Bing stated that most likely they were the adult version of the larvae found <br />by complainant. He voluntarily discarded all bok choy the facility had on premises, <br />cooked and in storage. The facility will no longer offer bok choy on the menu. <br />Inspection report emailed to owner at bingjunwen@yahoo.com. <br />To minimize person-to-person contact, EHD is choosing to write the name of <br />person receiving the official inspection report instead obtaining a signature. <br />MURO <br />5105. rpt Page 1 of 1
