SPIT IT OUT AND LOOKED LIKE YELLOW MUCUS. FOOD WASN'T WRAPPED PROPERLY. <br />VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br />Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7; <br />113700. All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and have the potential to cause foodbome illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately. Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br />the food facility. <br />OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS <br />FOOD ITEM -- LOCATION --TEMP ° F -- COMMENTS <br />No Temperature Data Collected <br />NOTES <br />Went to facility for complaint investigation. Met with Fredy Canales (Manager at Jack in the Box). I informed the manager of <br />the alleged complaint above. Fredy reported that he was unaware of the complaint and allowed that I inspect the facility. Fredy <br />described the facility's food processes and showed me all storage areas. The restaurant's food ingredients include sliced <br />tomatoes, lettuces, onions, cheese, mayonnaise, mustard, ketchup, butter, chicken and beef patties, and buns. All patty's are <br />preformed and stored frozen in the walk in freezer. Another supply of patties are stored in a McCall 2 - door freezer beside the <br />griddle until cooked. The condiments, cheese, and vegetables are stored in the prep cooler beside the hot holding units. The <br />patties are stored in the hot holding units after they are cooked. The buns are stored in the dry storage. No issues were <br />identified in food cold storage, dry storage, preparation, hot holding, and food wrapping areas. None of the employees were <br />observed to be sneezing, coughing, or have a runny nose. All employees were wearing face masks. Fredy stated that no <br />employees are currently ill, nor have been ill in the past few days. <br />Inspection report emailed to manager. <br />To minimize person-to-person contact, EHD is choosing to write the name of person receiving the official inspection report <br />instead obtaining a signature. <br />The person in charge is responsible for ensuring that the above mentioned facility is in compliance with all applicable sections of the California Health and <br />Safety Code.
