A PARENT CALLED THE SCHOOL AND INDICATED HER <br />CHILDREN WERE HAVING DIARRHEA AND VOMITING WHEN THEY GOT HOME FROM SCHOOL ON MAY 12,2022. <br />SHE TOOK HER CHILDREN TO THE DOCTOR AND THE DOCTOR DIAGNOSED THEM WITH FOOD POISONING. <br />THE PARENT ALLEGED THAT THE CHILDREN ONLY ATE MEALS AT SCHOOL ON MAY 12. BREAKFAST ON <br />05/12/22 WAS A SHELF STABLE COFFEE CAKE, GRAHAM CRACKER, SHELF STABLE JUICE BOX, AND WHITE <br />MILK. LUNCH WAS A CHOICE BETWEEN TURKEY TACO, CHEESE PILLOW PULL APART, OR PERSONAL PIZZA. <br />THE TURKEY IN THE TACO IS A PREPROCESSED ITEM AND WAS NOT COOKED FROM A RAW STATE. <br />VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br />Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7; <br />113700. All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and have the potential to cause foodbome illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately. Met with kitchen lead, Victoria Ramirez. Discussed complaint and <br />was allowed to conduct an inspection of the school's dry storage room, food log records, cold storage temperatures, sanitizing <br />solution, and potable water temperatures for sanitizing and hand washing. Victoria went over the food preparation from the <br />time it is received from Lathrop High School through the time of serving to the students. Victoria reported that no employees <br />were sick during the time the food borne illnesses were reported, nor were any employees currently ill.
