Soil Suitability/Nitrate Loading Study
Great Pacific Nut
3501 W. Lehman, Tracy
Page 2
Resources Control Board's (SWRCB) OWTS Policy, Table 3, provides for an application rate of 0.1
gallons per day per square foot for a percolation rate of up to 120 minutes per inch. A design for an
OWTS dispersal field and 100% replacement for a percolation rate of 480 minutes per inch should
at least exceed this application rate.
Based on the information provided, the EHD finds that the SSNL Study does not support the
suitability for the proposed OWTS usage for this parcel for the proposed use, pursuant to San
Joaquin County Ordinance Code Title 9, Section 9-1105.2(d).
Based on the above discussion, additional percolation testing must be performed under permit and
inspection by the EHD in the area of the proposed OWTS dispersal field or in an area more suitable
for OWTS wastewater dispersal, based on adequate percolation rates.
Please be advised that additional conditions of approval for PA-1800244 have not yet been
completed and are required prior to permit issuance or final occupancy.
If you have any questions please contact Michael Kith, REHS, Program Coordinator at
mkith(Dslgov.org or (209) 468-3444.
Michekl Kith, REHS
Program Coordinator
c: CTE Cal, Inc.
