The database can be searched by reviewing two lists, the <br />Permitted Underground Storage Tank (UST) Sites list and the Cleanup Sites list. <br />DTSC's EnviroStor database includes Federal Superfund sites, State response <br />sites, voluntary cleanup sites, school cleanup sites, corrective action sites, and <br />permitted hazardous waste facilities. <br />Live Oak searched both databases on July 6, 2022 for the Site and any listed <br />sites within one-quarter mile of the Site. The subject Site was listed on the <br />GeoTracker Cleanup Sites database. According to the listing, <br />On 30 April 2015 an 8,000 gallon aboveground storage tank (AST) <br />ruptured during filling operations resulting in catastrophic failure <br />and the release of approximately 7,000 gallons of diesel fuel. The <br />diesel flowed into the orchard to the south of the property and down <br />the driveway towards Frederick Road. A removal action was <br />initiated by the property owner within days under oversight of the <br />Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board. Impacted soil <br />was moved onto a lined land farm area immediately south of the <br />property for eventual remediation. <br />According to documentation available from GeoTracker, the impacted soil in the <br />spill area was excavated to 4.5 to 12 feet below ground surface (bgs). <br />Confirmation sampling and a photo -ionization detector were utilized to determine <br />the extent of impacted soil. A cemented hardpan was encountered at 12 feet <br />bgs. The excavations were backfilled with clean soil. Samples were collected <br />from the two onsite domestic wells; no TPH-d (total petroleum hydrocarbons as <br />diesel) was detected in the samples. Approximately 1,500 cubic yards of <br />excavated soil were placed on plastic sheeting between two orchard rows. In <br />2018, the soil stockpile was sampled; no BTEX constituents were detected, and <br />TPH-d was detected at concentrations between 14 and 61 mg/kg. The Central <br />Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board issued a "no further action" letter for <br />the diesel spill in September 2019; the attached documentation indicated that <br />"the stockpile has been adequately treated to be reused as road base at the Site" <br />(Appendix 5). <br />No additional listed facilities were identified within one-quarter mile. <br />7.2 Environmental Health Department Databases <br />Live Oak reviewed the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department's <br />Site Mitigation, LOP, Hazardous Materials, Hazardous Waste Generators, <br />Underground Storage Tanks, Aboveground Storage Tanks, and Complaints <br />databases, dated February 2022, for facilities of concern within one-quarter mile <br />of the Site. <br />LOGE 2232 8 <br />
