reviewed, no evidence of an impact to the subject Site from this facility
was identified.
• Michael Hat Farming Co., 22335 S. Olive, adjacent to the northeast,
Hazardous Materials, Underground Storage Tanks, and Aboveground
Storage Tanks databases. Live Oak reviewed records on file for this
facility at the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department. An
Agricultural Hazardous Materials Inventory from 2010 indicated that
diesel, gasoline, Roundup, and Sulfur were stored at this facility. An
Underground Storage Tank Program application from 1989/1990 indicated
that a 500 -gallon leaded gasoline tank, a 500 -gallon diesel tank, and a
3,000 -gallon leaded gasoline tank were located at the facility. It appears
from correspondence in the file that that the 3,000 -gallon gasoline tank
and the 500 -gallon diesel tank were removed and replaced with
aboveground tanks. The structure area at this parcel is almost one-
quarter mile from the subject Site. Based on the records reviewed and the
distance from the structures to the Site, no evidence of an impact to the
subject Site from this facility was identified.
Live Oak attempted to access the San Joaquin County Haz Mat Viewer
(https-//www.sjmap.org/HazMatViewer/viewer.asp) on July 6 through 9, 2022; the
Haz Mat Viewer did not appear to be in service at this time.
Live Oak reviewed the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department's
maps of Nitrate — Land Use Data and DBCP — Land Use Data dated February 20,
2019. According to the nitrate map (Plate 5), four wells within a one -mile radius
of the subject Site have been tested; nitrate was detected in one of the wells at
a concentration between 0.1 and 5.0 mg/L-N and in three wells at
concentrations over 10 mg/L-N. Five wells within a one -mile radius of the Site
were tested for DBCP (Plate 6); DBCP was detected in two of the wells at
concentrations between 0.01 and 0.2 ug/L and in one well at a concentration
over tg/L; no DBCP was detected in the remaining two wells. The Maximum
Contaminant Level (MCL) set by the US EPA for nitrate is 10 mg/L-N; the MCL
for DBCP is 0.2 [g/L.
7.3 Agricultural Commissioner's Records
Live Oak contacted the San Joaquin County Agricultural Commissioner's Office
regarding agricultural use of the site. According to Monica Hernandez of that
office, the Site has been almond and walnut orchard farmed by Four K Farms in
the recent past (correspondence, June 6, 2022). A variety of agricultural
chemicals have been applied to the property since 2018, as indicated on the
attached table (Appendix 6). No violations were identified.
LOGE 2232 10
