Complete residual waste management <br /> area, solar pond and landfarm area. <br /> C. Complete office/laboratory construction. <br /> D. Train plant operators , set up records <br /> system. <br /> E. Commence marketing activities and <br /> implement marketing plan. <br /> PHASE V SITE OPERATION (MARCH 1983) <br /> A. Receive and treat cyanide, heavy metal, <br /> acid, alkaline waste streams. <br /> B. Activate waste residual management area. <br /> PROJECT INFORMATION <br /> PURPOSE: This facility will initially treat 15 , 000 gallons <br /> per day of cyanide, toxic heavy metal, acid and <br /> alkaline waste streams to produce a nontoxic <br /> effluent for waste residual management using solar <br /> evaporation and landfarming techniques . <br /> OBJECTIVE: This facility will provide the region with a safe <br /> alternative means of hazardous waste management and <br /> recover metals from waste materials , provide <br /> stabilization for sludges and drilling muds <br /> containing toxic aqueous mobile ions . <br /> -3- <br />
