Koster Rd, Tracy <br />APN 255-310-40 & 255-310-19, SR0082465 <br />Wayne Fox, RENS, Interim Director <br />Muniappa Naidu, REHS, Assistant Director <br />PROGRAM COORDINATORS <br />Robert McClellon, REHS <br />Jeff Carruesco, REHS, RDI <br />Willy Ng, REHS <br />Michael Kith, REHS <br />Melissa Nissim, REHS <br />The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has reviewed the Soil <br />Suitability/Nitrate Loading (SSNL) Study, dated August 11, 2019 and submitted on August 13, 2019 <br />for the above noted location and has the following comments for your consideration. <br />The SSNL was prepared to determine the suitability of the above noted parcel for onsite wastewater <br />treatment system (OWTS) usage and the potential long term -impact of nitrate to groundwater for the <br />proposed project development. The proposed development project includes: <br />Delta Charter Elementary School with OWTS wastewater usage of 4,032 gallons per school <br />day resulting from 420 students, 22 teacher and 10 administration staff. <br />Based on the information provided the EHD can make the following findings: <br />Based on the information provided, the EHD finds that the SSNL Study supports the suitability <br />for standard OWTS usage for future development on the proposed parcels, pursuant to San <br />Joaquin County Ordinance Code Title 9, Section 9-1105.2(d), provided the existing and <br />proposed OWTS and 100% replacement areas can meet all required minimum setbacks from <br />any water wells. <br />2.
