RATS INSIDE THE BREAD CASE, ON TOP OF THE MEXICAN BREAD. <br /> VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br /> Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7; <br /> 113700.All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and have the potential to cause foodborne illness.All major violations must be corrected immediately.Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br /> the food facility. <br /> OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS <br /> FOOD ITEM--LOCATION--TEMP°F--COMMENTS <br /> No Temperature Data Collected <br /> NOTES <br /> Complaint investigation. Store manager reported the following: Bread is made daily at 3:00 am and during the day as needed. <br /> He became aware of the incident on the same morning of incident, Friday, 12-16-2022 at 9- 10 am.All sweet bread in the <br /> bread case was discarded. Bread case was cleaned and sanitized on the same morning of the incident.Verified invoice for <br /> Western Exterminator Company pest control service conducted at facility on 12-16-2022 beginning at 7:27 am. Per store <br /> manager,two rodents were caught over the weekend. <br /> Manager granted access to inspect facility. Facility's main entrance door is adjacent to the bread case and is not closing. <br /> Facility will maintain the door closed until repairs are made. Observed the bread was cleaned and no rodents or droppings <br /> were observed in this area. Some rodent droppings were observed in the back on cardboard containers, dry storagearea, and <br /> receiving area. Facility will deep clean and sanitize these areas. Observed a gap in the back receiving door. Facility to repair <br /> gap. Observed a damaged bag of ground cinnamon in the dry storage area. Facility will discard the cinnamon and clean and <br /> sanitize area.
