Former Skip's Service Station - 2 - 6 November 2021
aKa Clivarez Property
300 South California Street
Stockton, San Joaquin County
installation of borings CPT -15 and CPT -16, located between the Site property
and borings CPT -10 and CPT -13. Ground Zero proposed these borings with the
goal to close data gaps in the 1,2-dichloroethane (1,2 -DCA) plume. Ground Zero
stated they did not propose borings to the north or northwest of CPT -10 due to
the presence of potential off-site sources.
Central Valley Water Board staff are willing to accept the scope of work as
presented in the Work Plan, provided it is understood that if petroleum
hydrocarbons, including 1,2 -DCA, are detected in depth discrete grab
groundwater samples collected from CPT -15 and/or CPT -16, additional
delineation may be required to complete plume delineation.
2. Please note, that the CPT depth discrete grab groundwater sampling C zone (72
to 86 ft bgs) zone is shallower than the screen intervals for Site wells screened in
what is called the C zone (90 to115 ft bgs). This information should be taken into
account when generating figures depicting depth discrete data.
3. Central Valley Water Board staff concurs with the scope of work presented in the
Work Plan. Please submit a results report by 15 March 2022.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me via phone at (916) 464-4792
or via email at vera.fischer@waterboards.ca.gov
i
.J
Vera Fischer, P.G.
Engineering Geologist
/ ell , 4
Galvin Kauffman, P.G. 9542
Senior Engineering Geologist
cc: Technical Staff, State Water Resources Control Board, Sacramento
Technical Staff, San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department, Stockton
Mr. Andrew Dorn, Ground Zero Analysis, Inc., Modesto
