1 PURPOSE
This bid package and workplan is intended for the purpose of soliciting bids from a C-57 license
Well Drilling Contractor (CONTRACTOR) for the permitting, construction, and development of
up to seven (7) shallow groundwater monitoring wells in accordance with County of San Joaquin
Public Works (DPW) Improvement Standards (San Joaquin County DPW, 2014) and San
Joaquin County Well Standards (attached) requirements for the nine (6) wells proposed in San
Joaquin County. The Stanislaus County Department of Environmental Resources (DER)
Monitoring Wells and Geotechnical Borings within Stanislaus County Standards (attached) will
be followed for the one (1) well proposed in Stanislaus County. The proposed seven (7) well
installations are in support of the Eastern San Joaquin Groundwater Authority (ESJ GWA)
Groundwater Sustainability Plan (GSP). The ESJ GWA boundaries are shown on Figure 1.
The proposed shallow monitoring well locations, as presented in Figure 2, are sited near active
rivers, streams, and creeks, to support the collection of data needed to evaluate groundwater-
surface water interaction. Individual well locations with proposed approximate monitoring well
locations are presented on Figures 3 through 9.
COMPLIANCE WITH ALL LAWS.
CONTRACTOR hereby agrees that it and all subcontractors, if any, in the performance of the
work described, designated, and shown upon the Plans and the Project Specifications herein
referred to, will comply with all federal, state, county and municipal laws, rules and regulations
which may be applicable to the work herein contracted for, whether now in existence or
hereafter adopted.
20191132.001A/SAC22P142176 Page 1 of 5 July 1, 2022
©2022 Kleinfelder
