Phase II ESA – Work Plan <br />401 South El Dorado Street <br />Stockton, California <br />Page 3 <br />5.0 LABORATORY ANALYSES <br />Soil and groundwater samples from the deeper borings will be analyzed for volatile organic compounds <br />(VOCs), including benzene, toluene, ethyl benzene, and total xylenes (BTEX), oxygenated fuel additives, <br />and total petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH) as gasoline by EPA Method 8260B, TPH Fuel Fingerprint, <br />including TPH as diesel and motor oil, by EPA Method 8015B, and total lead. Shallow soil samples <br />collected from DP-6 through DP-8 (former auto wrecking yards) will be analyzed for Title 22 Metals by <br />EPA 6010/7470, fuel-fingerprint analysis using EPA Method 8015B, and VOCs and TPH as gasoline by <br />EPA Method 8260B. Laboratory detection limits will be sufficient for comparison to <br />regulatory thresholds. A 10-day laboratory turnaround time will be requested. <br />6.0 REPORTING <br />Condor will evaluate the laboratory analytical results, qualify the data, and compare results to regulatory <br />screening thresholds. Condor will prepare a report detailing the investigation including: detailed geologic <br />logs, laboratory analytical results, and conclusions/recommendations. The deliverables will include one <br />electronic copy of the report and up to three hard copies, if requested. Additional hard copies can be <br />included for additional fees if requested. <br />7.0 PROJECT SCHEDULE <br />Condor will schedule the sampling event and obtain permits from San Joaquin County upon approval <br />from the Client. Laboratory results are expected within two weeks of conducting the sampling. A report <br />can be submitted to the Client within four weeks of the completion of the fieldwork.
