• July 2014 permit for pump repair at domestic well. The standing water
level was reported as 33 feet, and the pump was set at 60 feet.
These permits have been included in Appendix 5 of this report.
7.0 GOVERNMENT AGENCY RESEARCH
7.1_ EPA Databases
The California Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) manages contaminated
sites through two sub -agencies: the State Water Resources Control Board
(SWRCB) and the Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC). The
SWRCB's GeoTracker database includes underground storage tank (UST) sites,
leaking underground storage tank (LUST) sites, cleanup program sites, and land
disposal sites. The database can be searched by reviewing two lists, the
Permitted Underground Storage Tank (UST) Sites list and the Cleanup Sites list.
DTSC's EnviroStor database includes Federal Superfund sites, State response
sites, voluntary cleanup sites, school cleanup sites, corrective action sites, and
permitted hazardous waste facilities.
Live Oak searched both databases on March 15, 2022 for any listed sites within
one-quarter mile of the Site. The subject Site was not listed on either database,
and no listed facilities were identified within one-quarter mile.
7.2 Environmental Health Department Databases
Live Oak reviewed the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department's
Site Mitigation, LOP, Hazardous Materials, Hazardous Waste Generators,
Underground Storage Tanks, Aboveground Storage Tanks, and Complaints
databases, dated February 28, 2022, for facilities of concern within one-quarter
mile of the Site. The Site address was not included on the databases. One
listed facility was identified within the search radius; the Bill Low property, located
at 7257 East Southland (adjacent to the southwest of the Site) was included on
the Hazardous Materials list. Live Oak reviewed records on file for this facility at
the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department. According to a 2019
inspection report, "this facility does not store hazardous materials in reportable
quantities"; a 2010 hazardous materials inventory had listed 250 gallons of diesel
fuel. Based on the limited use of hazardous materials, this facility is not
anticipated to have impacted the Site.
Live Oak searched the San Joaquin County Haz Mat Viewer on March 20, 2022
for the Site and nearby facilities with hazardous materials inventories. The Site
was not labeled as a hazardous materials handler. One facility was identified
within one-quarter mile, the Bill Low property, discussed above; no chemical
inventory was provided.
LOGE 2216 5
