<br />Geocon Project No. S2170-07-12 - 2 - June 6, 2022 <br />1.1 Project Location and Description <br />Site Location: 622 E. Lindsay Street and 601 E. Miner Avenue in Stockton, California <br />1.2 Background <br />The Site is being assessed for potential residential development. The client has requested a soil vapor <br />survey to assess the Site for contaminant impacts related to the former operation of automobile service <br />stations on the Site that might necessitate mitigation prior to redevelopment of the Site for residential use. <br />1.3 Project Objectives <br />The objective of the soil vapor survey is to collect reportative soil vapor samples for VOC analysis. <br />1.4 Planned Scope of Services <br />• General, non-intrusive survey activities <br />• Vapor sampling – Geoprobe direct-push drill rig <br />1.5 Schedule <br />Anticipated Period of Performance: June 2022 <br />Anticipated Weather/Temperature: Moderate to hot. Geocon’s Heat Illness Prevention Plan will be <br />implemented as needed. <br />2.0 ADMINISTRATIVE REQUIREMENTS/CONTROLS <br />2.1 Personnel <br />Personnel responsible for project safety include the Project Manager (PM), the Project Safety Officer <br />(PSO), the Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), and participating project personnel. <br />2.1.1 Project Manager (PM) <br />The Project Manager has ultimate authority and responsibility for project Health and Safety. Accordingly <br />she has the responsibility to: develop and approve the HSP (or assign its development); audit compliance <br />with the provisions of this HSP; suspend project activities or modify service practices for health and <br />safety reasons; and, to dismiss from a project site individuals whose onsite conduct either endangers the <br />health and/or safety of others or is judged not to comply with the provisions of the HSP. <br /> <br />The PM is also responsible for sharing/distributing the HSP to participating field personnel and to an <br />authorized representative of each project subcontractor. The PM is responsible for implementing all <br />provisions of the HSP and any applicable addenda. Implementation includes: <br />
