REHS <br />Jeff Catruesco, REHS, RDI <br />Rodney Estrada, REHS <br />Willy N- REHS <br />SR0076820 <br />This letter indicates San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) approval of <br />drawings submitted forthe proposed Lodi USD Food Truck, subject to the following condition(s): <br />1. Wastewater tanks shall be 50% greater that potable water tanks, in no case <br />shall capacity be less than 7.5 gallons. (114240 (b)) (Note: the plan <br />proposes on page 7 an overhead potable water tank estimated 40 gallons, <br />while the waste water tank is 52 gallons. This is inadequate. However on <br />page 2 the same tank is estimated to be 30 gallons) <br />2. The floor surfaces in all food preparation or packaging areas, open food <br />storage areas, utensil washing areas, refuse storage areas, janitorial areas, <br />and all restroom and employee change areas, shall be smooth and of <br />durable construction and nonabsorbent material which is easily cleaned. <br />These floor surfaces shall be coved at the juncture at the floor and wall <br />with a three-eighths (3/8) inch minimum radius coving and shall extend up <br />the wall at least four (4) inches. Rubber or vinyl top set base is not <br />permitted in these areas [CRFC §114268]. <br />3. The exhaust hood must be constructed to meet the requirements of the <br />California Mechanical Code [CRFC §114149.1]. <br />4. No exposed threads, nuts, or rivets that interfere with proper cleaning. <br />(114301 (g) <br />5. Equipment joints and seams shall be tightly fitted and sealed; silicone <br />sealant or waterproof compounds if gap is smaller than '/< inch. (114301 (b) <br />
