All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and have the potential to cause foodborne illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately. Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br />the food facility. <br /> #21 Hot and Cold Potable Water Not Available MAJOR <br />OBSERVATIONS: Observed 2 door condiment reach-in that is at 51F and the food in this unit is pickles (52F-53F) and <br />relish. <br />Provide these food s at 41F or lower, as labels on jars say "Keep refrigerated after opening". <br />Relish and pickles on condiment prep top are to be kept on ice until unit is properly functioning. <br />Jars of relish and pickles in the unit have been moved to another refrigerator unit that is properly functioning. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: An adequate, protected, pressurized, potable supply of hot water and cold water shall be provided at all times. <br />(113953(c), 114099.2(b) 114101(a), 114189, 114192, 114192.1, 114195) <br /> #27 Food Protected from Contamination <br />OBSERVATIONS: Observed croissants that are used for breakfast sandwiches being warmed in the hot hold Grab n Go <br />cabinet for prepackaged foods. <br />Croissants are placed in the back of the Grab N Go hot case directly in contact with the bottom surface of the hot case. <br />Discontinue this practice. <br />Croissants are to be warmed in the oven and not in the Grab N Go warmer where customers handle prepackaged foods. <br />I let manager know and manager let employee know to discontinue this practice and croissants were disposed per manager. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: All food shall be separated and protected from contamination.
