All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and have the potential to cause foodbome illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately. Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br />the food facility. <br />#7 Hot and Cold Holding Temperatures <br />OBSERVATIONS: Observed Simply Juice bottles and Lunchables boxes for sale on market floor across walk-in cooler <br />display doors. Per manager they received the shipment less than 1 hour ago and are in the middle of stocking the walk-in <br />units, they placed the items for sale here while they are stocking other items. The juice and Lunchables felt cool to the <br />touch. Keep perishable items at 41 or below at all times. Correct immediately. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Potentially hazardous foods shall be held at or below 41/ 45°F or at or above 135°F. (113996, 113998, <br />114037, 114343(a)) <br />#35 Equipment/Utensils Approved and in Good Repair <br />OBSERVATIONS: There was a lingering smell inside walk-in cooler. Clean unit to remove smell. <br />Per manager they need a part to repair the open reach-in display in the market. Repair/replace unit so that it provides 41 F <br />or below prior to storing any potentially hazardous food items in unit. <br />CAL CODE DESCRIPTION: All utensils and equipment shall be fully operative and in good repair.
