#45 Floors, Walls, Ceilings; Clean and Maintained <br />OBSERVATIONS: Observed debris on walk-in freezer floor. Clean today and maintain clean. <br />The walk-in freezer floor was damaged. Observed damaged flooring throughout market. Repair/replace flooring within 2 <br />months. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: The walls/ceilings shall have durable, smooth, nonabsorbent, light-colored, and washable surfaces. All floor <br />surfaces, other than the customer service areas, shall be approved, smooth, durable and made of nonabsorbent material that is easily <br />cleanable. Approved base coving shall be provided in all areas, except customer service areas and where food is stored in original <br />unopened containers. Food facilities shall be fully enclosed. All food facilities shall be kept clean and in good repair. (114143 (d), <br />114266, 114268, 114268.1, 114271, 114272) <br />OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS <br />FOOD ITEM -- LOCATION --TEMP ° F -- COMMENTS <br />produce bunker with salad -- market --41.00° F <br />open reach-in display -- market — 60.00° F <br />Bar S Classic Hot Dog (cold hold) — walk-in cooler — 60.00° F <br />walk-in freezer— 21.00° F <br />walk-in cooler-- 61.00° F <br />NOTES <br /> <br />Complaint inspection. <br />Manager was not aware of the complaint. <br />Per manager the walk-in cooler was found to not be working today morning so they opened the door of the walk-in freezer to <br />try to keep the cooler cool. <br />Some items in the walk-in freezer were thawed. <br />The walk-in cooler was being serviced during the inspection, food items inside cooler were for sale while unit was being <br />serviced. <br />The walk-in cooler display doors were taped off and a sign will be placed for customers about refrigerator unavailability, items <br />inside walk-in cooler will be discarded at the end of the day. <br />The open display display in the back near the walk-in freezer was not working properly, observed some salads for sale of the <br />bottom shelf. <br />The salads were removed from sale. <br />Discussed report with Lupita Alvarado, Manager. <br />No signature captured. <br />Re-inspection on or after 8/17/2022. <br />The person in charge is responsible for ensuring that the above mentioned facility is in compliance with all applicable sections of the California Health and <br />Safety Code.
