Repair or replace the torn tarp. <br />b. Ensure that all waste is covered at the end of each operating day. <br />7. AC T27CCR20750 Cracks, erosions and rough surfaces, which could contribute to water accumulation, were observed <br />on the cover of old Forward landfill units. <br />a. Repair all cracks, erosions and surfaces. <br />8. AC T27CCR20820 Erosions on the slopes of old Forward Landfill. <br />a. Repair all erosions. <br />9. AC T27CCR20870 Load checking was performed in the dark <br />a. Provide adequate lighting random load checking. <br />b. Ensure that all hazardous waste and unacceptable waste are removed. <br />10. Violation T27CCR20919.5 The concentrations of methane gas were as following: <br />In GP9: 46.30 % in shallow 20.10 % in middle 0.00% in deep <br />In GP12: 46.00 % in shallow 37.00 % in middle 30.60 % in deep <br />a. Ensure that the concentration of explosive gas at the property boundary is below 5 % by volume. <br />b. Follow directions listed in T27CCR20919.5(c) and in the Amended Notice and Order 03-01. <br />c. Also see previous inspection report for the previous violation of this section. <br />11. AC T27CCR20686 Excessive amount of waste was listed as beneficial reuse. Between 9/01//05 and 9/24/05, <br />119,339.92 tons of waste was listed as disposal, and 50,009.39 tons was listed as beneficial reuse. <br />The waste to cover ratio for that same period was 2 to 1. <br />a. Provide justification for such excessive usage of the cover and other beneficial reuse to LEA and the Board. <br />b. Also see inspection dated 4/20/05, 5/25/0, 6/24/05 and 7/27/05 for previous area of concern of this section. <br />12. Notes: <br />A. There were several burrows in the cover on the south slope of old Forward Landfill.
