Soil Suitability&Nitrate Loading Evaluation CTE Job#25-1256G <br /> New Septic Leech Lines <br /> 9490 E Schmeidt Rd <br /> Lodi, California <br /> June 29, 2022 Page 1 of 9 <br /> SOIL SUITABLITY STUDY <br /> 1.0 INTRODUCTION& PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT <br /> As requested, CTE CAL, Inc. (CTE) has completed a Soil Suitability and Nitrate Loading <br /> Evaluation for the proposed new septic leech lines to be located at 9490 East Schmeidt Road in <br /> Lodi, California. The purpose of this evaluation was to determine the suitability of the project site <br /> for onsite wastewater treatment system (OWTS) usage. The evaluation was performed in general <br /> accordance with the requirements of Section 9-10100C of San Joaquin County Ordinance Code for <br /> Septic Tank Usage. <br /> The following report includes information regarding the proposed development, past and present <br /> use of the property, and general soil and groundwater conditions at the project site/vicinity. In <br /> addition, our assessment procedures, site conditions encountered during the field exploration and <br /> results of percolation tests performed at the site are presented herein. <br /> The project is located in the Northeastern part of San Joaquin County (Northeast of Lodi). The <br /> project site is Zoned "AG-40" and is within Flood Zone "X". The leech lines are proposed to be <br /> constructed on the Northwestern side of a rectangular 10-acre parcel located at 9490 East Schmeidt <br /> Road (APN 051-11-004) in Lodi, California. The project site is bound by Schmeidt Road to the <br /> North, and agricultural properties to the West, South, and East. <br /> At the time of our field reconnaissance, the proposed leech lines area was an in-use vineyard. The <br /> project is proposed to consist of constructing a new leech line in the Northwestern side of the site. <br /> Figure 1, Site Index Map, at the end of this report, shows the general location of the site.
