Hazelton Ave., <br />Stockton, CA. 95205 <br />Subject: Response to the required corrective actions <br />A DIVISION of <br />HFAiiH CARE <br />SERVICE`; AGENCY <br />The San Joaquin County Public Health Laboratory (SJCPHL) was inspected and received the <br />Medical waste inspection report on 2/14/2020 with the corrective actions. Below is the response <br />to the required corrective actions: <br />1. The laboratory staff will ensure documenting the reason when the medical waste is not <br />picked up within 7 days. (See attached Memo). <br />2. The matter was discussed with the Stericycle representative. The laboratory staff will pay <br />attention while receiving the receipts from the Stericycle pick up representative. In <br />addition to the tracking forms, they will request the print out of the receipt (See attached <br />Memo and recently received receipts). The SJCPHL will keep the copy of the Stericycle <br />waste pick up tracking forms and the receipt. <br />3. Staff received the training on autoclave operation and SJCPHL will include this as part of <br />the annual staff training from now on wards.
