We request the submission <br />of a revised Sampling Plan that incorporates modifications based on the comments below. Please feel free to contact me <br />with any questions. <br />1. Site Description and Background paragraph 3: <br />Please add information about the excavation of the drainage ditch completed by Ponder prior to Apex's arrival. The <br />Sampling Plan states vegetation was removed from the canal, but the Water Board's understanding is that soil was also <br />removed from the drainage canal. Please include the approximate depth of the excavation to date and the volume of <br />material removed. <br />2
