All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and have the potential to cause foodborne illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately. Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br />the food facility. <br /> #23 Rodents, Insects or Animals Inside Facility MAJOR <br />OBSERVATIONS: Observed live cockroaches on front counter counter tops, on wall and floor in front counter area, on wall <br />in kitchen, and on floor in customer lobby. Observed one juvenile cockroach on Hobart mixer in back bakery area. Observed <br />empty cockroach egg case on wiping cloth under cutting board at kitchen prep table, wiping cloth was cleaned and placed in <br />sanitizer bucket. Per owner facility is currently serviced by AAI every 2 weeks for pest control and last service was 11/15/22. <br />Clean and sanitize areas immediately and increase pest control measures. Keep facility closed until re-inspection is done. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Each food facility shall be kept free of vermin: rodents (rats, mice), cockroaches, flies.( 114259.1, 114259.4, <br />114259.5) <br /> #6 Handwashing Facilities Supplied and Accessible <br />OBSERVATIONS: The kitchen hand sink was partially blocked by an apron and mop bucket. Hand washing facilities must <br />be accessible at all times when operating. Corrected on site. <br />The soap dispenser for the kitchen hand sink was empty. Provide soap in dispenser today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Handwashing soap and towels or drying device shall be provided in dispensers dispensers shall be <br />maintained in good repair. (113953.2) Adequate facilities shall be provided for hand washing, food preparation and the washing of <br />utensils and equipment. (113953, 113953.1, 114067(f)) <br /> #7 Hot and Cold Holding Temperatures <br />OBSERVATIONS: The walk-in was 42 F.
