The two <br /> containers were placed into a 55 gallon drum containing oily dirt during the inspection. The drum had a hazardous <br /> waste label where the generator information was illegible. <br /> -One black 3 gallon drain pan containing used oil was missing a hazardous waste label. <br /> -One open drain pan containing used oil and an oil filter was missing a hazardous waste label. <br /> -One 1 gallon blue container holding oily dirt did not have an accumulation start date. <br /> -One blue 5 gallon bucket under a tractor containing used oil was missing a hazardous waste label. <br /> -One blue 5 gallon and one 10 gallon container holding used oil under equipment were missing hazardous waste <br /> labels. <br /> -One rusted 55 gallon drum containing oily dirt did not have a hazardous waste label. <br /> -One 275 gallon tote containing used oil did not have a hazardous waste label <br /> -One blue 55 gallon steel drum containing oily dirt was missing a hazardous waste label. <br /> -One red 5 gallon container holding waste gasoline did not have a a hazardous waste label. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: the <br /> words"Hazardous Waste", name and address of generator, hazardous properties, physical state, composition <br /> (contents), accumulation start date <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately label the containers as required for hazardous waste. Provide a corrective <br /> action statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br /> (EHD)within 30 days. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class ll. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> An inspection checklist was provided to the facility operator on the day of inspection. A complete report was <br /> finished on 9/21/2022 and replaces the initial checklist. The report was amended and the following violations <br /> were added: 106, 304, and 404. The person who gave permission was also updated. <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, by October 21, 2022. <br /> Wastes generated by this facility: used oil, oily debris, waste gasoline <br /> Per disposal records reviewed, no waste was disposed of in 2021. <br /> To minimize person to person contact EHD is choosing to write the name of person receiving the report instead <br /> of having them sign. Starting September 1, 2018, all in-office CERS help will be provided at EHD hourly rate <br /> ($156).
