Hi Paul and Susan, I understand you are requesting onsite training to nursing staff. I am available to come out next Wednesday 2/12. Our annual training format has recently been updated. On our visit will we still be completing an audit first thing in the morning, but it will not include a total inspection of containers in the hospital. Instead it will be more of a sampling of the areas. You will still receive a report with pictures and explanations of any and all findings during those rounds. The focus of the visit will include training in the following areas. o Super user training. This is geared toward clinical staff. It will include the program details similar to the training provided during the install. This will be a 30-45 minute classroom training with a PowerPoint presentation. 2 sessions are offered on the day of the visit. o EVS staff training- This is NOT DOT training. This training is with EVS staff to discuss their part in serving as the back up to the Stericycle service. We will discuss movement, packaging and storage of the containers. There is one sessions offered on the day of visit.
