Install a <br />transport lid on a 17 gallon container and <br />secure with 2 zip ties. A red cap must be <br />placed in the funnel top of the 2, 3 and 4 gallon <br />container. If it is a 4 gallon horizontal close lid <br />until it latches. <br />• Place container on a service cart with barcode <br />facing out with other containers. <br />• Replacement containers should be secured in a <br />Dolly, Stabilizer Dish, Cabinet, or bracket when <br />offered for use for nursing. <br />sem. <br />Hazardous 2 -Gallon Black <br />Disposable Container <br />ri <br />• Found in clinical areas <br />• Securely close full container by adding red cap. <br />• Unlock wall mount, remove container, replace with <br />clean 2 -gallon black container, place a tracking <br />label on the side of the bin and complete the <br />location and start date. Make sure tracking label is <br />completely visible on front or side of container. <br />• For the full container, add container full date to <br />tracking label and bring the container to CAA <br />• Place the closed and labeled containers onto the <br />designated spill pallet. <br />• Stericycle hazardous waste driver will pack waste <br />on day of pick up. <br />2 <br />
