Hazardous 8 -Gallon Black <br />Reusable Container <br />r <br />• Commonly found in Pharmacy or high use clinical areas. <br />• Securely close lid of 8 gallon container. <br />• Unlock dolly, remove full container, add clean, lined 8 -gallon black <br />containerto dolly, place a tracking label on the liner of the bin (if <br />one is not already present) and complete the location and start <br />date. Make sure tracking label is completely visible on front area of <br />liner. <br />• Bring full container to storage area and place on spill containment <br />pallet —add full date to tracking label. For storage purposes, the <br />spill response and container issues number should be filled in. <br />• After Hazardous Waste Driver picks up contents/ liner: Clean <br />empty 8 gallon container by wiping with hospital approved <br />sanitary wipes or cleanser. Re -line container with 2.5 mil liner and <br />add fresh tracking label before storing in clean supply area. <br />ii sm+cyda <br />Hazardous 8 Gallon Black <br />Kendall Disposable Container <br />This container is never reused, it is one time <br />use. <br />• Frequently found in OR, C -Section OR, Cancer <br />Centers, & Endo—Contingencies need to be left <br />for OR change out to mirror OR exchange process. <br />• Bring Black Kendall container to Central Accumulation <br />Area, (CAA) and place on spill containment pallet— add <br />full date to tracking label. <br />• When providing a new bin, place a tracking label on the <br />side of the bin and complete the location and start <br />date.
