This area can not use the same sign as the interim
storage areas it needs to have the language* that I wrote on the inspection report for biohazardous waste
storage areas, the international symbol and Warning Biohazard Storage Area won't do it.
*"CAUTION—BIOHAZARDOUS WASTE STORAGE AREA—UNAUTHORIZED
PERSONS KEEP OUT," and in Spanish, "CUIDADO—ZONA DE RESIDUOS—BIOLOGICOS
PELIGROSOS—PROHIBIDA LA ENTRADA A PERSONAS NO AUTORIZADAS,"
Please let me know when the proper sign has been installed and the waste pharmaceuticals will be legally
stored and disposed of.
Thank you.
Kasey Foley, RENS
Program Coordinator
San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department
600 East Main Street
Stockton, CA 95202-3029
(209)468-3451
kfolev@sicehd.com
From: Dennis Gorton [SJGH]
Sent: Thursday, July 17, 2008 3:09 PM
To: Kasey Foley [EH]
Cc: Richard Aldred [SJGH]; Carla Bomben [SJGH]; Susan D.
