Called Richard Stiffler
at 209-993-3274 with the City of Stockton to gather more information. He stated
that the maximum amount he beleived to have been spilled was 15 gallons but he
couldn't state with certainty until he was on site. Asked if we could see where the
spill occured and Richard stated he would make some calls and have someone
from the City of Stockton meet us at the site so that we could gain access and see
where the spill occu red.
Went out with John Alaniz to the site and met with Scott Brown with the City of
Stockton Maintenance department. He showed us where the spill had occurred.
Scott stated that the pumps are off and will remain turned off until the wet well is
cleaned up.
06/28/2022 Spoke with Richard Stuffier this morning and he informed me that he would be on
site at 2404 E Mariposa Rd, Stockton with Ponder Environmental to assess the
situation. I asked that he give me a call back to let me know what the plan for
clean up will be. Received a call from Richard Stuffier informing me that clean up
will be conducted tomorrow 6/29/22 at 8am. Per Richard, the actual quantity that
the reservoirs hold is approximately 1 gallon. Per Richard, the maximum amount
that was spilled was 2-3 gallons. Ponder will be skimming the oil and hauling that
off in drums and any remaining liquid will pumped into the sanitary sewer.
Saved photos taken while on site to the public drive. Generated complaint, Prop
65 and Notice to Abate. Notice to Abate was emailed to Richard Stiffler at
Richard.Stiffier@stocktonca.gov. Created photo log.
GARCIA-MEJIA
5105.rpt Page 1 of 2
