Two five-gallon buckets with lids were observed on the inside of the fence near <br /> the northeast corner of the Site. Mr. Morenos indicated that these containers are <br /> empty and will be properly disposed (personal communication, January 10, <br /> 2023). Outside of the fence, three monitoring wells were observed near the <br /> northeast corner of the Site. <br /> The adjacent properties on all sides were residential. No environmental <br /> concerns were observed on these adjacent parcels. <br /> 5.0 INTERVIEWS <br /> 5.1 Interview with Client <br /> Mr. Morenos was interviewed by telephone and text on January 5, 2023. He <br /> indicated that he has owned the Site approximately 2.5 years. He believed the <br /> houses on the Site were built around 1938. He was not aware of any wells on <br /> the Site. Mr. Morenos indicated that about two years ago a swimming pool was <br /> filled in under San Joaquin County permit. <br /> Mr. Morenos was not aware of any fuel tanks, chemical storage, dumping, buried <br /> debris, automotive maintenance, or other environmental issues on the Site. He <br /> has not observed any problems from the nearby gasoline stations. <br /> 6.0 SITE DOCUMENTS <br /> 6.1 Environmental Health Department Records <br /> Hazardous Materials Records <br /> The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department was contacted <br /> regarding the Site addresses of 956 South Oro Avenue and 955 South Adelbert <br /> Avenue, Stockton. According to Laura Sauers of that office, the records <br /> available for the Site addresses are posted on-line (correspondence, January 4, <br /> 2023). No hazardous materials records were identified. Eight housing <br /> complaints were on file, including a Notice to Abate from 2017 stating that the <br /> "house on Adelbert side is in bad condition. Walls cracked and falling down." <br /> These types of conditions could lead to a release of lead-based paint (if present), <br /> though no mention of this possibility is made in the Notice. <br /> Well & Septic Permits <br /> Live Oak searched the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br /> well and septic permit files for the Site addresses.
