Specimen or microbiologic cultures and stocks of infectious <br /> agents or live and attenuated vaccines and culture mediums used in human health <br /> or research. <br /> • Waste containing any microbiologic specimens. . <br /> • Human surgery specimens or tissues removed at surgery or autopsy suspected of <br /> containing infectious agents contagious to man. <br /> • Animal parts, tissues, fluids, or carcasses suspect of containing infectious agents <br /> known to be contagious to man. <br /> • Waste, which at the point of transport from facility, at the point of disposal, or <br /> thereafter, contains recognizable fluid blood, fluid blood products, containers, or <br /> equipment containing blood that is fluid or blood from animals known to be infectious <br /> which are highly communicable to humans. <br /> • Waste containing discarded materials contaminated with excretions, exudate, or <br /> secretions from humans who are isolated due to highly communicable diseases or <br /> 314 <br />
