Fuel Spill R <br /> If the spill is not MANAGEABLE: <br /> 1 . Activate the emergency shut off switch and divert traffic <br /> 2. Notify the local fire department (911 ) and manager on duty <br /> 3. Evacuate all non-essential people from the immediate area <br /> 4. Eliminate fire sources - do not start vehicle engines <br /> 5. Wear PPE (gloves and goggles) and safety vest <br /> 6. Prevent the spill from entering storm drains by using approved <br /> absorbent materials and drain mat <br /> 7. Report the spill to SolvOne (800/269-4557) <br /> 8. Report the spill to Risk Management <br /> 9. Complete and retain Fuel Spill Information Report <br /> 10. If customers spill a significant amount of fuel on themselves, <br /> contact 911 and report to store manager 5 <br />
