SAN JOAQUIN <br /> Environmental Health Department <br />COUN I Y <br />1 Small Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Inspection Report <br />Facility Name: <br />RAMIREZ BODY SHOP <br />Facility Address: <br />1200 N FILBERT St, STOCKTON <br />Date: <br />January 25, 2023 <br />SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br />(CLASS I, CLASS II, or MINOR - Notice to Comply) <br />Item # Remarks <br />406 CCR 66261.7 Empty hazardous waste or material container greater than 5 gallons not managed per this section. <br />OBSERVATION: One empty white 55-gallon plastic drum located on the South side of the property. <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: Empty containers which previously held a hazardous material, including hazardous <br />waste must be managed per Title 22 California Code of Regulations (CCR) section 66261.7. Refer to this section <br />and California Department of Toxic Substances Control guidance for more information. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately label all empty containers with the date they were emptied and manage <br />within one year of that date. Manage the container per Title 22 CCR section 66261.7. Provide a corrective action <br />statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) <br />within 30 days. <br />This is a Class II violation. <br />601 CCR 66262.34(d) Stored hazardous waste onsite greater than 180 days (90 days acute / extremely). <br />OBSERVATION: The following hazardous waste containers were found on-site with an accumulation start date of <br />greater than 180 days or no accumulation start date: <br />-4 quart size used oil containers located on the North side of the property. <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: Title 22 California Code of Regulations section 66262.34. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately dispose of the hazardous waste stored on site greater than 180 days in <br />compliance with Title 22 California Code of Regulations. Provide a corrective action statement and a copy of the <br />disposal records to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) within 30 days. <br />This is a Class II violation. <br />605 CCR 66262.34(f) Failed to completely label containers or portable tanks of hazardous waste. <br />OBSERVATION: Hazardous waste containers were observed on-site with incomplete labeling. The containers <br />were: <br />-4 quart sized used oil containers located on the North side of the property. <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: the <br />words "Hazardous Waste", name and address of generator, hazardous properties, physical state, composition <br />(contents), accumulation start date <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately label the containers as required for hazardous waste. Provide a corrective <br />action statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br />(EHD) within 30 days. <br />This is a Class II violation. <br />Overall Inspection Comments: <br />An inspection checklist was provided to the facility operator on the day of inspection.
