Visited the indoor swimming area and used the pool facilities as well as 3 eateries there. Campfire <br />kitchen, Hungry as a Wolf, and a creamery. On 2-5-2023 the 2.5 yr old experienced severe diarrhea and vomiting. 5-yr old experienced the same <br />symptoms next. Then parents became ill with same symptoms. We also spoke with management for the food facilities. We informed <br />them about the nature of the complaint which is as follows: <br />Family of (4) visited resort on February 3 & 4th. Visited the indoor swimming area <br />and used the pool facilities as well as 3 eateries there. Campfire kitchen, Hungry <br />as a Wolf, and a creamery. On 2-5-2023 the 2.5 yr old experienced severe <br />diarrhea and vomiting. 5-yr old experienced the same symptoms next. Then <br />parents became ill with same symptoms. Both children admitted to Kaiser and <br />allegedly diagnosed with clostridium difficile. <br />We were informed that there had not been any other calls regarding this matter. <br />Personnel in charge informed us of all the records for February 3rd and 4th. The <br />records did not show any abnormalities with circulation and disinfection. <br />Disinfection equipment is operating properly. <br />Creamery: <br />Employees are required to wash their hands: before beginning work; before <br />handling food/equipment/utensils; as often as necessary, during food preparation, <br />to remove soil and contamination ; when switching for working with raw to ready to <br />eat foods; after body parts; after using toilet room; or any time when contamination <br />may occur and before putting gloves on. <br />Hungry as a wolf and Campfire: Currently not not operating fully.
