Complaint Investigation Summary <br /> Report #: 5105 <br />COMPLAINT ID: COW73J1)0( Site Location: 705 W WEBER AVE <br />Activity Summary <br />Activity Date Recorded by <br />06/29/2020 Called Chris Magro, 323-613-5521.1 told Chris Magro that the responsible party's MURO <br />assistant has called the EHD twice denying responsibility for the incident that <br />occurred on 2/26/20 on the basis that the boat is not Scott Sherman's boat. Chris <br />reported that Scott Sherman did sell his boat shorty after the incident. But, the <br />boat's owner at the time of the oil release, was Scott Sherman. <br />02/12/2021 Review for abate. Chris Magro (Stockton Marina) has not provided disposal MURO <br />records. <br />02/18/2021 Searched facility at 705W Weber in Envision Connect for HW program. Did not MURO <br />find. Searched facility in CERS; no account under this address or facility name. <br />Discussed with Lead Senior Garrett Backus. <br />Chris Magro has under his email signature the address 445 W Weber Ave <br />address. Searched the facility under our inventory under that address. Facility has <br />other programs, but not hazardous waste. Looked up area inspector. Emailed <br />facility information and complaint numbers to Lead Sr Garrett Backus (EHD). <br />Garrett contacted Chris Magro and discussed complaint. According to Chris <br />Magro the absorbent waste has not been disposed of. Garrett Backus sent Chris <br />Magro Household Hazardous Waste facility information and how to obtain a <br />temporary EPA ID information. <br />02/18/2021 Emailed Chris Magro at: cmagro@asmstockton.com, to request a copy of MURO <br />disposal receipt. <br />02/18/2021 Spoke to Chris Magro, marina manager, 323-613-5521 and discussed the oily pad BACKUS <br />and boom disposal. He said the pads and booms are still on site and he's taking <br />them to the County household hazardous waste facility next week. I emailed him <br />the small business hazardous waste facility internet link and told him they are <br />open for business customers on Wednesday only and an appointment is <br />necessary. I also sent him the internet link for a temporary EPA ID, if needed. <br />The marina site on Weber does not collect used oil or filters. <br />cmagro@asmstockton.com <br />02/18/2021 Documented complaint activity. MURO <br />06/10/2021 Received a transferred call from Leilani on behalf of the responsible party. She <br />wanted to discuss billing. The invoice was paid but they keep receiving bills. They <br />no longer own the boat. Looked up complaint and discussed last billable activity. <br />She will be contacting Chris Magro (Stockton Marina) for disposal of the absorbent <br />pads from cleanup.
