MARY'S INTERFAITH DINING ROOM Telephone: (209) 467-0703 <br />Program Element: 1600- FOOD PROGRAM Complaint #: C00055681 <br />Responsible Party Contact: <br />DESCRIPTION OF COMPLAINT ALLEGATIONS <br />The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department received the following complaint: <br />COMPLAINANT STATES THERE ARE ROACHES AND MICE IN THE KITCHEN, THE WALLS ARE DIRTY, THE SINKS <br />BACK UP CONSTANTLY AND DISHES ARE NEVER WASHED CORRECTLY. COMPLAINANT ALSO STATES THE <br />KITCHEN BATHROOM SMELLS LIKE SEWAGE, NO ONE WEARS HAIR OR BEARD NETS, THERES MOLDY FOOD, <br />HALF THE FOOD THERE IS EXPIRED AND THE BATHROOMS PEOPLE SHOWER IN ARE NEVER CLEAN. <br />COMPLAINANT CALLED BACK AND STATED THAT AN EMPLOYEE IS STORING BREAST MILK IN THE FRIDGE AS <br />WELL AS CLEANING PUMPING EQUIPMENT IN THE DISHWASHER. <br />**COMPLAINANT REQUEST CALL BACK FROM INSPECTOR** <br />VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br />Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7; <br />113700. All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and have the potential to cause foodbome illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately. Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br />the food facility. <br />OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS <br />FOOD ITEM -- LOCATION --TEMP ° F -- COMMENTS <br />No Temperature Data Collected <br />COMMENTS AND OBSERVATIONS <br />Complaint inspection. No major violations. No re-inspection. <br />Manager, Brandy Roa, was unaware of complaint. Did not observed any roaches or mice in the kitchen. Did not observe any <br />evidence of roaches or mice in the kitchen during the inspection. Did not see any entry points for vermin or food debris <br />build-up under shelves or equipment. Clark Pest control services facility every other Tuesday, per manager. Walls of kitchen <br />were clean at the time of the inspection. Per manager, sinks are slow draining at times. Maintenance is currently working on <br />the issue. Sinks were draining properly at the time of the inspection. Dishes are cleaned in the dishwasher and three <br />compartment sink. Sanitizer at the dishwasher was observed at 50 ppm of chlorine. Wash, rinse and sanitize is used at the <br />three compartment sink. Sanitize compartment was observed at 10 PPM chlorine at the time of the inspection. This was <br />corrected on site. Kitchen restrooms did not smell like sewage atthe time of the inspection. All employees were observed <br />with hair nets or baseball hats and hair tied back. No employees had beards at the time of the inspection. No moldy or <br />expired food observed during the inspection. Per manager, some bread they receive may be moldy but it is thrown away and <br />not served. One employee is storing breast milk in the refrigerator that is for employees only. Employee cleans breast pump <br />equipment in dishwasher without any other items. <br />Maintain pest control and clean facility. Continue to work on slow draining sink issue so that sinks are in good working order. <br />Ensure dishes and utensils are sanitized in 100 PPM chlorine minimum. Recommend dumping water down floor drains in <br />restrooms periodically to prevent sewage smell.
