All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and have the potential to cause foodborne illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately. Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br />the food facility. <br /> #21 Hot and Cold Potable Water Not Available <br />OBSERVATIONS: The hot water at the employee restroom hand sinks is 60F. Increase the temperature of the hot water at <br />these sinks to 100F (minimum). Correct ASAP. <br />Work order was submitted. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: An adequate, protected, pressurized, potable supply of hot water and cold water shall be provided at all times. <br />(113953(c), 114099.2(b) 114101(a), 114189, 114192, 114192.1, 114195) <br /> #23 Rodents, Insects or Animals Inside Facility <br />OBSERVATIONS: Observed numerous dead cockroaches on the floor and on a glue board/sticky trap in the Bakery. <br />Immediately clean up dead insects, sanitize the affected area and monitor for new activity. <br />Facility is serviced monthly by Area Wide Pest Control. The last service was conducted 2-24-23. Facility's next service is <br />due any day. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Each food facility shall be kept free of vermin: rodents (rats, mice), cockroaches, flies.( 114259.1, 114259.4, <br />114259.5) <br /> #35 Equipment/Utensils Approved and in Good Repair <br />OBSERVATIONS: The right corner of the soda walk-in cooler has ice accumulation and dripping water. This unit also has <br />patches of ice accumulation on the walls. Walk-in freezer #191 has ice accumulation. Identify the source of the water/ice <br />accumulation and repair units as needed. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: All utensils and equipment shall be fully operative and in good repair. (114175).
